THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING US IN TOKYO!

It was such an amazing experience having our whole country behind our small sport.

Our Aussie Belles proved they can match it with the best on the world stage.

They inspired the wider community and demonstrated the opportunities available to those with vision impairments.

Did you know...

  • Goalball is a sport available to anyone!
  • It is VERY easy to get involved- you don't need to have had ANY experience. Our coaches and players will ensure you are welcome, no matter your ability.
  • Our small sport is run entirely by volunteers and we are always looking for support. Some easy ways you can help and get involved:
    • Like us on Facebook. It sounds simple, but the bigger our reach the more support we can get for our athletes.
    • Come and Try. We have a number of introductory programs available to anyone, regardless of they are sighted or vision impaired, young or old.
    • Partner with us. Currently, the majority of our funding (which isn't much!) comes from various grants. We have modest, but tangible partnership opportunities- no matter your budget!
    • Inclusivity in Schools. NSW Goalball has the LARGEST Paralympic program for schools in Australia. We use goalball to educate students on physical literacy, empathy, inclusivity and disability awareness.
